Changing foreign policy to reduce the Debt

The unwritten foreign policy position that US companies overseas investments are an interest of national security needs to be stopped.
All it does is make our military and intelligence agencies get involved in disputes and wars with other countries and the tax payer picks up the tab for poor investments by those companies.
We did not do a good job in Afghanistan because of the invasion of Iraq based on false information. It was all about the oil. Now ExxonMobil is investing in Iraq. It is still a very unstable country and it would not be surprising to see us invading again to bail them out.
Iran ,Vietnam, Chile, Ecuador, Indonesia and Panama are all examples of this unwritten policy.
I call on Congress and the President to pass a law forbidding these foreign interventions on the behave of US companies with the military

Why is this important?

Reduce the Debt by not bailing out US companies bad investments in other countries with our military. We have a history of this since installing of the Shah of Iran in the 1950's
Our military is our single largest debt problem.
