Because of a recent study on standardized tests, there have been a number of reasons found that standardized tests are not the most effective tool to access knowledge. However there are alternatives that we would like to begin using such as planned or unplanned demonstrations or projects.
Why is this important?
As students, we believe that standardized tests do not take into account the individual variation that exists between students, thus giving an inaccurate representation of understanding.
