COLAs

There should be only one COLA for everything and to maintain revenue neutrality, all taxes and tax brackets should be adjusted to EXACTLY the same percentage. Let's start with applying whatever COLA the conservatives want to apply to Social Security to the employment and Medicare tax cap retroactive to when it was last adjusted, This would instantly fix Medicare and Social Security. Let's cap Federal Government Employee's (ncluding Congress and their staffs) benefits and salaries to the same COLA. We'd save billions of dollars and as much Congessional time as they take in recesses.
