Columbia City Council: leave the homeless alone

Many homeless people in Columbia, South Carolina, are facing an arduous choice: Vacate downtown or be arrested.

The Columbia City Council's plan is to make it illegal to be homeless in Columbia and send the homeless to a 24/7 shelter outside of the city for now, and then possibly somewhere else out of town akin to a "concentration camp." We will get this issue on the ballot in the future election if you don't do the right thing.

Why is this important?

To stop the attacks on the homeless. they need to be treated with dignity and respect. this proposed plan will cost the city more money and solves no problem.
