Community Council president Rose Funderburk: please help our residential area

The residents in this area feel ignored, their voices unheard. The area is overwhelmed by nonresidents and no regulations.

Why is this important?

This residential neighborhood has been saturated with vehicles parked by people who take the rail road and leave their vehicles for days, along with others who park for hours to shop and bank. There are also vehicles parked which are stolen and have been removed by the NYPD. This has been continuous for years and makes it extremely difficult for residents to live normally in this area. There are many children in this area who's parents feel are unsafe due to the speeding vehicles that drive threw. Their are also nonresidential vehicles parked in driveways blocking residents from moving their vehicles. Street signs and other measures need to be taken in order to prevent this from happening.
