The VBA could probably computerize 90% of it's paper files using current web based technologies by simply asking veterans to RE-SUBMIT their information via online forms. This approach may not have been considered because it adds an additional burden to veterans to re-submit claims, but would likely be much more efficient than trying convert the paper files. I know people who would donate their time to make this happen.
Why is this important?
I would like for congress or some other authoritative body to consider a plan that uses current web technology to computerize the VBA paper files.
