Concerned Citizens of Hamden Against Mayor Garrett's 3.68 mill rate Increase

Mayor Garrett proposed a 3.68 Mill increase with her budget proposal for Fiscal Year 2023. The residents of Hamden can't afford a tax increase. The Legislative Council need to work together to lower the burden on the overtaxed residents of Hamden.

Why is this important?

This issue is important to all Hamden residents as the higher the mill rate, the higher the taxes making living in Hamden financially very hard.
