Congress Act Now on DACA

Congress should pass legislation to provide DACA recipients with a path to citizenship before the Supreme Court hears the case.

Why is this important?

As the daughter of an immigrant who benefited from the Immigration and Control Reform Act of 1986, I was lucky that growing up I didn't have to live with the fear that my parents might be deported. Unfortunately as the clock ticks for DACA, recipients and their family members live in limbo with daily fear and anxiety. Congress should act now and pass legislation to provide DACA recipients with a path to citizenship. It is time we give DACA recipients and their families an opportunity to succeed.
