Congress: Let the Bush tax cuts end in 2012, and don't cut Medicare/Medicaid/Social Security. Rai...

With the Bush tax cuts for the ultra rich set to expire in late 2012, the G.O.P. killed the deficit super committee in Congress recently to protect this tax dodge for millionaires and billionaires in the 1%. These vital federal revenues, in the form of slightly higher taxes for the highest income bracket, were a bipartisan deal in the late 90's to deal with the deficit. These Clinton era tax adjustments brought on high economic growth and some of the U.S. economy's most prosperous years. They were a serious solution to the federal deficit. Cuts to crucial programs for the middle class are not the answer. We're united to protect the 99%, and to protect programs like Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security that are a safeguard for average Americans. We want good jobs now, not unfounded promises that tax cuts for the 1% create jobs. We want an end to inequality and joblessness. Most of all we'd like the 1% to pay their fair share and sacrifice for their country like the rest of America has.

-NO to the Bush tax cuts that are trillions of dollars for millionaires and billionaires in the 1%; a tax cut the G.O.P. killed the deficit supercommittee to protect
-NO to cuts to vital services for the 99%, like Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid
-NO to inequality
-GOOD JOBS NOW!

Why is this important?

-NO to the Bush tax cuts that are trillions of dollars for millionaires and billionaires in the 1%; a tax cut the G.O.P. killed the deficit supercommittee to protect
-NO to cuts to vital services for the 99%, like Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid
-DO NOT balance the books on the backs of the poor, elderly and most vulerable
