Members of the Congress should be required to pay into Social Security and current free-for-life retirement plans abolished.
Why is this important?
While the Congress establishes the rules and uses the funds contributed to Social Security, they should be required to be enrolled as well. Congressional free-for-life retirement plans should be abolished.
