Cuts to Social Security and Medicare are unacceptable.
Mr. President: We the undersigned believe Social Security and Medicare are not the place to make cuts in government spending. Cutting Social Security is not the solution to the country's debt. Furthermore, we support the use of a Presidential executive order if needed to bypass the obstructionism that currently is taking place in Congress.
Why is this important?
The GOP once again is targeting Social Security to balance the budget. There are too many senior citizens in this country dependent on this income. Cutting Social Security is not the solution to reducing the deficit.
