David Zuckerman for Governor
Vermont Lt. Governor David Zuckerman has been at the forefront of progressive causes in the Green Mountain State.
Sure, "progressive" gets thrown out there an awful lot, but Lt. Governor Zuckerman is the real deal, as a farmer, as an organizer, as a former lawmaker in Vermont's state legislature, and as Lt. Governor of Vermont for 6 years.
David Zuckerman is a fighter for local, organic agriculture, for fair trade practices that support Vermont manufacturing, for bold climate action through a renewable energy portfolio and a green-collar jobs program, for supporting public education and rural school districts, for universal healthcare, for rebuilding our infrastructure and transportation systems, for a livable minimum wage, for workers' rights, for antitrust action, and for a fair, progressive tax system on the rich to invest in working class communities. It's one thing to talk the talk on a slogan. It's another to act on the issues that matter most to working families.
That is why Lt. Governor Zuckerman has been elected to public office for decades, and still connects with the issues facing families by working on his small farm while holding office. Lt. Governor Zuckerman is the working man.
I hope the former Lt. Governor, and my personal friend, David Zuckerman runs for Governor because he can show the way of how to lead his state, and this country, in taking on the special interests, taking on the elites, and getting big things done instead of tinkering around the edges and pleasing the business, donor, and consultant classes. I hope he runs (especially if Phil Scott decides not to seek reelection in 2026 or in the near future) in what would be a very competitive race.
