Demand that CNN apologize.

CNN's handling of Ambassador Chris Steven's journal was wrong. CNN should apologize to the American people for putting ratings above the safety of Americans and withholding critical information to the investigation of a terrorist attack. The journal should have been given to American authorities immediately because time is of the essence in any criminal investigation and in this case gave the perpetrators time. Tell CNN to apologize for compromising American's safety for ratings.

Why is this important?

The handling of Libyan Ambassador Chris Steven's journal was wrong and prioritized ratings over the safety of Americans. Any evidence, particularly from a potential Terrorist attack site, and as sensitive as an official's journal should have been handed over to the American government immediately. Time is of the essence in any criminal investigation and in this case withholding evidence jeopardized American lives and gave the perpetrators valuable time.
