Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and the Harris Country District Attorney launched a criminal investigation into Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in the wake of the devious attack on Planned Parenthood for legally donating tissue—which is used for research into treatments for cancer, diabetes, stroke, and many other diseases and is standard medical practice.
State officials have already forced more than 55 women's health centers to shut their doors; these health centers provided lifesaving cancer screenings, birth control, STD testing, and basic preventive health care.
We demand these attacks cease, and their efforts to deny access to abortion in Texas end.
