The People request that all disabled Veterans and caregivers receive the same support that post 9/11 Veterans and caregivers receive- that war specificity for benefits be eradicated.
Why is this important?
Pre 9/11 caregivers and veterans aren't receiving adequate support services where many movements, pay and support were enacted only for post 9/11 veterans and their caregivers. Disabilities created by U.S. wars shouldn't be treated differently based on the war that caused the disability. Obviously the needs are the same.
