Dr. Scott Warren was acquitted, by mistrial, of Federal charges for providing humanitarian aid to refugees, but DOJ is now preparing to retry him.
Stop this miscarriage of justice and dismiss charges against Dr. Warren.
Why is this important?
The prosecution of Dr. Warren is clearly an effort by DOJ to intimidate humanitarian aid workers at the southern border. This effort to retry him using alternative charges is clearly an abuse of the justice system as well as an effort to make conditions as inhumane as possible for refugees.
