SIGN: Sheriff's office charging pregnant mother whose toddler couldn't wait for potty

Brooke Johns, a mother, was issued a citation for disorderly conduct because her 3-year-old couldn't hold it long enough to use the bathroom. She reportedly tried to discreetly cover him up as he went in a parking lot, but a deputy issued her a citation so she's due in court jut days before she's due with her second child. Tell the Richmond County Sheriff's Office to drop the charge against Brooke Johns.

Why is this important?

Not only is this charge unnecessary, but also disgraceful on behalf of the sheriff department! This was about a small child. How many men stop alongside the highway to relieve themselves without being charged with any type of citation? I'm sure the sheriff department has more pressing issues than a little boy having to use the restroom! A conversation would have been sufficient; and I'm sure the mother would NOT have done this if it could have been avoided. After all, they were headed to the restroom.
