DO NOT BAN TELEWORK AT THE VA.
Continue to allow teleworking because you risk creating a pandemic here at HINES hospital. You have an obligation to protect Veterans and staff from COVID-19. We have been doing exceptional work at home and the Veteran's have been safer. We should be following the orders of many governors to stay at home and advise our vulnerable Veterans to do the same.
Why is this important?
If you do not allow telework, Veterans, staff, and their families will be negatively impacted. Other VA's have implemented telework and California is a clear demonstration of how this will back fire. You already have the evidence of this.
