Social Security is properly funded for the next 15 years, so cuts are not justified. Why not cut your own benefits first. Do away with your pension and have a 401k and social security for retirement as we the people.
Why is this important?
Congress: Cut your own spending (e.g., staff, pension, and medical plan) and adopt Social Security and Medicare for yourself just as the people you represent. Lead by example.
