No cuts for Social Security. The only adjustment that will not affect the poor and middle class is to remove the income limit on the FICA tax. Then everyone will be paying into the system the same percentage of their income.
Why is this important?
I depend on my Social Security benefits, and there are many more people like me. They say people are living longer so they could raise the age when benefits are received. The problem is, it is the wealthy who live longer, not the poor and middle class. Protect our safety net.
