Honorable Attorney General Merrick Garland:
Whereas the former President Donald J. Trump knowingly planned, implemented, and called out his supporters to criminally interfere with the peaceful transfer of power to the winner of the 2020 Presidential election, President Joe Biden on January 6, 2021,
Whereas the former President Donald J. Trump made fraudulent claims that the election was stolen and raised funds from his supporters for the purpose of fighting the election results,
Whereas the former President Donald J. Trump dishonored the office of the United States Presidency,
Whereas the former President Donald J. Trump did not honor his oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States,
Be it resolved that he should suffer the consequences and the Department of Justice should prosecute him for the above crimes and all other relevant crimes that he has committed.

No one is above the law.
When crimes are committed, justice and consequences should equally apply to all.
Former President Donald J. Trump committed crimes that endanger the democracy of the United States. His supporters must clearly see that the fraudulent model he has built is clearly a crime and that there are consequences when one applies that model.
Former President Donald J. Trump has set up a precedence that must be acknowledged as dangerous to the United States.
I will go ahead and submit this petition and signatures to Attorney Merrick Garland. The FBI is working hard on getting documents and it looks like the Department of Justice is working hard also. Our voices are important to share.
There are several petitions written about the Department of Justice prosecuting the former president. Some petitions also request that all who participated in the criminal acts attempting to prevent the peaceful transfer of power also be prosecuted. They are all commendable.
With every signature on this petition and others to the same effect, our thoughts are being shared that the rule of law pertains to everyone and that, "No one is above the law."
After the January 6 hearings, I will submit this petition with however many signatures are on it. Every petition and signature is important. Let us insist on justice for all.
