To: Mayor, Tim Kabat, La Crosse, WI

Don't remove the Hiawatha Statue on the MIssissippi River in La Crosse, WI

Stop any removal efforts of the statute and create an agreement with the mayor and the La Crosse Historical Society to prevent future attempts of removal.

Why is this important?

Hiawatha was known as a peacemaker. His goal was to unify different tribes to lessen tribal wars resulting in the formation of the "Great Law of Peace". His belt is made of hundreds of beads, colors, and symbols which depict unity from the different tribes of different locations, and culture.
Let us allow this statute to stand as a symbol of peace for us all.
