Don't cut library network services in Connecticut.

Gov. Dannel Malloy is proposing budget cuts to the state library that will eliminate a handful of major library programs that benefit library users. Some of the programs that will no longer be funded through this proposed budget are the Connecticard program, the Connecticut Library Consortium, the grant program for local humanities institutions, the Computer Access Programs, and Grants to Public Libraries.

Why is this important?

I am a user of the library and have found it very helpful to be able to reserve all sorts of library material such as books, DVDs and CDs from all over the state. The library just recently started a weekly email called Wowbury that lets you know which new material is available.
