Don't Cut Social Security Benefits
Say no to President Obama's proposal to cut Social Security by lowering the cost-of-living adjustment for current and future retirees.
Why is this important?
I was injured in combat in 2008 while fighting to bring democracy to Iraq, and I collect Social Security benefits - benefits that are now on the chopping block at the hands of our government leaders, unless you vow to stop them.
Now, one of my only sources of income, along with millions of seniors, veterans, and other Americans is in danger of being infringed upon, at the expense of massive government overspending.
The Federal Government owed 2.7 Trillion at the end of the fiscal year to Social Security. Now the government can't pay the debt owed, so they are telling seniors, wounded warriors, retirees, and other Americans collecting Social Security that they just may have to pay up, easily effecting the approximately 55 million Americans who collect Social Security.
