To: The United States Senate
DON'T LET "AN INSULT TO JUSTICE" BECOME OUR NEXT ATTORNEY GENERAL
Dear Senator,
If Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions was too racist to be confirmed as a federal judge in 1986, how can we trust him to now lead the Department of Justice? If confirmed, Sessions could imperil civil rights, immigrant rights and voting rights protections.
He has opposed nearly every piece of environmental legislation since 1997. He would not enforce environmental laws or regulations meant to protect all 330 million Americans.
An overwhelming majority of Americans agree that we need strong action on climate change and we need it now. We urge you to oppose Jeff Sessions and demand an Attorney General who is guided by an inclusive notion of citizenship, respects our environmental laws, and is dedicated to protecting voter rights, public health, and civil rights.

Why is this important?
Tell the Senate to vote NO on Jeff Sessions for Attorney General
Donald Trump’s nominee for the Attorney General, Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions, has called the additional C02 in the atmosphere “plant food” and “not really a pollutant. ” He is a climate change denier. He has voted against almost every environmental legislation since 1997.
Sessions is not fit to be our nation’s top law enforcement official and cannot be trusted to ensure the rights of all are being safeguarded.
