Drone Pilot Medal

The new Distinguished Warfare Medal for drone pilots and cyber-warriors, if approved as is, will hold a ranking above the Bronze Star with Combat "V" and the Purple Heart. It should be ranked, at the highest, under the Combat Action Ribbon/Combat Infantry Badge. When you go home every night and have never had a shot fired at you, you don't rate a distinction above those that spend months or years in harm's way. I urge you all to sign this petition and pass it to all of your contacts. I wish to make one thing clear: I honor the service of these men that keep boots off the ground. That being said, if you haven't had boots on the ground, you don't rate such a distinction.
