Drop Your Support Of LAUSD School Board Candidate Graciela Ortiz
In defending herself against allegations that she enabled the sexual assault of an LAUSD student who worked on her campaign, School Board Candidate Graciela Ortiz has described the child's molestation at gunpoint as an "unfortunate occurrence ." This is unacceptable.
Despite a pending lawsuit and her campaign's continued description of these allegations as being a political "smear," The Los Angeles County Democratic Party and SEIU Local 99 continue to endorse her candidacy for Board District 5 in the race to replace Jackie Goldberg. Our children deserve better and urge you to withdraw your support of this candidate.

Why is this important?
Victims of sexual assault should not be slandered as they seek justice. By doing so, Graciela Ortiz has proven she is not capable of representing the children of Los Angeles. She should not be endorsed by the Los Angeles County Democratic Party of the SEIU 99 labor union. Please sign if you agree.
