Dunkin Donuts, dump your plastic straws and stir sticks

As a citizen of the state of Florida, a state with 8,436 miles of coastline that includes all tidal inlets (according to NOAA) and 663 miles of beaches, and as a customer of Dunkin' Donuts, I am appalled that they are still offering only plastic straws and stir sticks. Over the last several years, we have learned that not only are our oceans inundated with plastic waste, including straws and stir-sticks, but wildlife is dying at an alarming rate because they are ingesting huge quantities of these products.
The stir sticks and straws are used once and discarded, and not even recyclable!
We call on Dunkin' Donuts to be a good corporate citizen and switch to biodegradable wood, bamboo, and eco-friendly paper products.
