Earth and Human Day of Rest

My cousin, Suzanne, and I would like all of us to do some consciousness raising and volunteer to go back to the old days, when we had a day of rest. When we were kids, on Sundays, everything was closed except the pharmacies and churches. With the Covid-19 quarantines, we are noticing the earth taking a breath. Some people in China had never seen the blue sky before, canals in Italy that were dark brown are now clear and in the US, there are many happy dogs being walked by their owners. Not for religious reasons, but it could be - and we realize it can't be enforced so we need people with a public pulpit to encourage a voluntary day of rest. One day of the week where only essential businesses operate. Other people can picnic, go to church, meditate, have big family or friend dinners, lie on the beach, hike in the woods or sleep all day. It could also be an art/music day - something schools are cutting - and we could powerlift it. While we replenish, so will the earth. It would also be a way to limit any disease spread a bit.
