We, the undersigned people, believe that corporations are NOT people. Elections are not auctions, and we refuse to let our democracy be put up for sale. What we want is a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United.
Why is this important?
Citizens United is allowing the big corporations to pour large amounts of cash into political campaigns. This is nothing more than buying the government. The problem is that most of us can't afford it. Sign the petition, keep the playing field somewhat even.
