High-Tech companies such as Google, Apple, and Facebook, should contribute money to provide housing for families and others displaced by high-tech workers. They have caused the prices to rise beyond the ability of middle and poor families to pay.
Why is this important?
The high rate of homelessness of families and others amidst the vast wealth in Silicon Valley, and caused by the influx of high-tech workers into Silicon Valley, needs to be addressed.
