End the filibuster and pass voting rights legislation!
The Senate minority is abusing the filibuster to stop the For the People Act from getting a fair up-or-down vote, making it clear that they think partisan politics should come before equality and democracy.
We cannot let them continue exploiting this Jim Crow relic to silence voters, keep Big Money in politics, protect corrupt politicians, and more. The Senate must end the filibuster and pass the For the People Act -- whether that means amending this outdated loophole or abolishing it altogether.

Why is this important?
It's been nearly 10 months since President Biden took office -- and Congress still hasn't acted to protect voting rights, even as Trump and his allies step up their attack on democracy.
Trump's allies are busy seizing control of elections at the state and local level, gerrymandering Congressional districts in their favor, and threatening to undermine the next presidential election.
But Senate Democrats have been unwilling to end or create an exception for the filibuster to pass the For the People Act and save our democracy.
Congress isn't taking voting rights seriously enough. We need to send them a message right now that they must act to protect our democracy -- before it's too late.
