Enforce Traffic Laws and keep our kids safe at Freedom Highschool
Since the Sheriffs Office left Oakley and the city started its own Police Department traffic at Fredom High School has gotten worse and is not safe. Everyday when school gets out students and parents race out of here burning tires, stopping where ever, blocking lanes and not yielding to pedestrians as well as J-Walking. We the Teachers, Parents, Students and Neighbors need to see a change. Once a week or so 3 motorcycle Officers would come and enforce and now we never see anything or anyone. Most people go over 20 MPH ON O’Hara. We are requesting City Council and the Oakley Police Department to come out to Freedom High School and make everyone safe and solve these traffic and parking issues now to prevent any further accidents or issues.
Why is this important?
To enforce speed and parking issues around Oakleys only High School.
