Equal Employment for Ex-Felons

This petition is to cease discrimination from employers who deny employment based on an individuals record or past criminal history! This petition is to lower recidivism amongst individuals with criminal history and to allow them to gradually be placed in a working environment of their choice (based on one's qualifications). So we can see allow them to not only contribute to their community but also provide a healthy rehabilitation for these individuals who choose to better themselves and the lives around them.

Let us NOT allow employers the chance to deny these individuals NO MORE! Background checks should not be allowed until after employment has been offered and after one's qualifications have been discussed between interviewer and interviewee.
