Equal Opportunity Employment for Felons

I am a convicted non-violent felon. I have turned my life around and am now in college working hard for a secure future and I have been so greatly limited to what fields I can and cannot study while in college. I feel as though I should have the same opportunity for the pursuit of happiness as any other American Citizen by having an opportunity to explore the medical field.
