When considering entitlement adjustments to Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid, legislators should provide for equivalent and equitable adjustments to benefits for public officials and emplyees not covered by those programs.
Why is this important?
I am concerned that the common people receiving entitlements through Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are being unfairly singled out in resolution of the debt crisis. All citizens should share in the solution.
