Fedex and UPS Step Up to Support USPS in Delivering Vote Ballots
Due to the financial and technical challenges placed on the USPS to be successful in delivering the voter ballot on time, we are asking private mailing institutions of FedEx and UPS to support USPS in delivering the voter ballot to and from U.S. communities to the county clerk offices in their communities at no charge to help the U.S. continue support a democracy and to minimize the voter suppression that appears to be increased due to the new policies implemented within the USPS.
Why is this important?
The support will help reduce the pressure on USPS due to the current financial and technical challenges from the new policies. Support will also reduce the populations fear of vote by mail, thus, minimize voter suppression. Lastly, voting by mail helps to reduce the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus by minimizing the number of people (especially, our seniors) having to go to the polls to vote.
