Subways make New York City run, make our environment more sustainable and support better quality of life for people of all incomes. The new MTA leader, Andy Byford, has a plan to fix the subways. Gov. Cuomo and the legislature should support long-term state funding, including traffic-reducing congestion pricing and progressive state taxes.
Why is this important?
I ride the subways regularly. For our streets to be better places to walk and bike and live, better subways are essential.
