To: The New York State House, The New York State Senate, and Governor Andrew Cuomo
Gas lines are so yesterday
It is 2012 not 1975. We cannot blame the Middle East for gasoline shortage we are still experiencing on Long Island and elsewhere. We have our own supply lines and refineries. How is it that we have allowed ourselves to be in this situation with all the technology and experience we have in crisis management? Poor leadership and planning? Someone is to blame for the length of time of this situation. As elected leaders of this great State we implore you to identify the weaknesses and take the appropriate corrective measures. This is New York State not an undeveloped country why are we acting like one?
Why is this important?
A petition urging Elected officials to uncover and correct the reasons for the unreasonable length of the current gas shortages across Long Island and NY State.
