GET BIBLES BACK IN SCHOOLS
Dear Sir/ Madam,
Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, my name is Archbishop Wayne Johnathan Manning I. It is with deep regret and remorse that I pen these words regarding the day of infamy, February 14th 2018, the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
It is time to make our schools safe again by returning the Holy Bible, Prayer, and Christian Religious education input into our schools again. As a result of the 1963 Supreme Court ruling that prohibited prayer and Bible reading in our schools, we have created a monster that invades our youth nationwide. I am asking you to please reconsider allowing Bibles and Prayers back into our schools under the following schedule:
1. 30 minutes Worship/ Morning Devotion (MANDITORY) before school begins.
2. Have two spiritual guidance counselors present daily to provide spiritual guidance for the students.
3. Add religious education to the curriculum.
4. At lunch time, have a prayer before the meal led by the counselors.
5. Mandatory assembly closing prayer for all classes at the end of the school day before they are dismissed.
We will provide suitable ministers to keep the schedule. Children that are expelled and suspended, we will follow up with them. Fundamentally, we believe that the violence in our schools is triggered by the origin of evil. Any evil anywhere in our educational systems is too much evil everywhere. The problem is not the problem it is the attitude towards the problem that maintains the problem. Spiritual solutions for school violence is what we need according to 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Now is the time to take action, not just physically but spiritually as well.
