Give High School students a choice on what we learn

I've seen my friends stressed out beyond belief by the amount of work that they are given that they might not even care about or that they might not want to do. I'm a sophomore at Grand Island High School and although I have been affected by this a little I haven't been affected as bad as many of my friends have been. Students have been likely to have stress, depression or anxiety over this kind of problem and I want us to have a choice on what we learn, we know the basic stuff and I think we should get to pursue on what we learn in school.
