GOP: Donald Trump Must Step Down as a Candidate
The idea of religious registration is exactly what our forefathers sought to ensure would never happen when they themselves fled to America and later wrote the constitution. This type of religious registration was required in Nazi Germany and I never thought I'd see the day such an idea would be presented in this country of all places by a presidential candidate. I'm so ashamed and can't imagine how it must feel to be a Muslim American right now. It is irresponsible for the Republican Party to stand by and implicitly support ideology that is anti-American and discriminatory.

Why is this important?
Mr Trump has made many offensive remarks, but has crossed the line from sensational to outright unconstitutional. He is a candidate for the presidency and should not be supported by any party if he promotes religious registration and discrimination.
