This petition should be signed in order that the free/low cost Government Home Telephones for Seniors and people with disabilities are made available to these citizens who live in Oak Ridge. Signing this petition will remove the monopoly of home telephone access in Oak Ridge in order that citizens will have the opportunity to compare a variety of home telephone services and make a better informed decision about services and prices. Most importantly Seniors and people with disabilities will be able to excercise their rights in utilizing this service offered by the Federal Government.
