By cutting a temporary, inexpensive bypass around the collapsed Coal River Road near Alum Creek, you can prevent possible loss of life and end the suffering of thousands of residents. We urge you to construct the temporary, short detour until a permanent roadway is in place. If no such detour is constructed, inhabitants, including children riding on school buses will be forced to travel many miles out of their way on extremely dangeourous back roads to reach their destination.
