We demand that the DMV be open 7 days per week, for extended hours, before November 4. Otherwise, Governor Walker must halt implementation of the new voter identification laws or the DMV must change its stringent document policy for proof of ID.
Why is this important?
The new Voter ID Law in Wisconsin will affect hundreds of thousands of voters yet the DMV has stringent regulations in place as to who qualifies for a picture ID. Members of our family are affected by this law and unable to obtain a State Wisconsin ID.
