Hair Salons/One Client At A Time (Soft Opening April 27th)

Allow a licensed beauty professional to perform a beauty service/ privately with one client in the salon / per stylist at a time Starting as of Monday, April 27, 2020. All necessary precautions and sanitation protocols approved by the state of OH and the local Board of Health will be followed. Our industry follows proper disinfection, sanitation guidelines anyways and is capable of keeping other communicable diseases from spreading. We need to be recognized & deemed as an essential business so we can better serve our community.
Servicing one client at a time while wearing a mask & gloves with windows open and proper ventilation poses little to no risk of spreading the virus, as compared to 20 or more people in a grocery store or 10 plus people at restaurants picking up food. We are better able to reduce the risk of cross contamination than most of these other essential businesses. We make lives of those who are severely isolated brighter, and help those who have dangerous home environments. We also service the brave women and men who serve in our local police departments, governments, courts, and hospitals who deserve to feel their best during these trying times.

Why is this important?

The survival of the independent beauty professionals is at risk. We are facing a grave financial hardship.
