SAVE OUR USPS - HANDS OFF THE POSTAL SERVICE
1)Protect and preserve the United States Postal Service from destruction
2) Stop the dismantling or privatizing or the US Postal Service
3) Restore their full budget and restore financial support to the US Postal Service
4) Reverse the 2006 requirement forcing the USPS to pay pensions months in advance, which impacts their salary budget
5) Appoint a competent Postmaster General to manage the US Postal Service - it is a national treasure and deserves to be treated with respect

Why is this important?
The United States Postal Service is a national treasure and an integral part of American History since 1669. It was ratified by the the Second Continental Congress in 1775, with Benjamin Franklin as the first Postmaster General. The United States Postal Service has kept its promise of neither snow, nor rain, nor dark of night would keep them from delivering the mail for 351 years! They have been faithful to America in famine, drought, depression, economic downturns, snowstorms, hurricanes, pandemics. The USPS has been a symbol of American Pride and Ingenuity. Now the USPS needs the help of all Americans to keep it from being a political pawn. "We cannot, and must not and must not and will not allow our USPS to be trashed; it's an emblem of the American spirit, a symbol of America's success and, helped build the country, and is a deep source of pride for generations and generations of American Postal Workers(BHO)."
