Hartford teachers demand that Hartford Public Schools take a clear anti-racist stance by refusing to continue to employ any teachers who have perpetuated racism in schools or on social media.
Why is this important?
Our students and families deserve to see us take an active role in dismantling the racism that persists in our institutions, not passively condemn "the current state." If we are anti-racist, then racism and racists have no place in the education of our students or any students.
