Have a Constitutional Amendment to allow voters select Supreme Court justices

Change the U.S. Constitution to allow voters to choose future Supreme Courts justices from nominations put forth by the political parties instead of the president choosing the nominee and the U.S, Senate voting on that nominee.

Why is this important?

The current process of Supreme Court justices being nominated by the president and voted on by the US Senate is deeply flawed and a sham as recent events have demonstrated.
