We the undersigned demand an improved Medicare for All system be established for all people residing in New York and all of the United States.
Why is this important?
Only a Single Payer system such as enhanced Medicare for All will control health care costs and provide quality health care for everybody. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act was influenced by the private insurance companies. The ACA still allows uninsured, under-insured, deductibles, co-pays and out-of-pocket costs that can lead to bankruptcies, and inadequate coverage.
